What your first session may look like

  • #1: Hey, Hi, Hello!

    A casual conversation about your past fitness experience, how you’ve felt in gyms, what your experience (if any) with personal training has been and an in depth conversation regarding your personal fitness goals as they stand today.

  • #2: What's Going On? Let's See!

    You will be invited to take part in a medical-grade body composition scan that will measure your basal metabolic rate, metabolic age, muscle mass, visceral fat index, body fat %, lean muscle %, bone mass, body cell mass, and body water percentage. This is not for everyone- your trainer will work with you to determine if it will be a beneficial part of your fitness journey.

  • #3: Whoa! Individualized Fitness Plan?

    Your trainer will talk with you about how often and how long you would like to workout for per week. They will discuss what you would like to target, if anything. You will discuss your everyday activities, any repetitive physical stress your body may encounter in the day. Taking all of that into account, your personal trainer will create a personal fitness plan that is fully customized to your life!

  • #4: Alright...Let's Give It a Try!

    You will be led through a personalized workout by your trainer that will focus on correct form, proper tempo. and tactile feedback. Through this feedback, your trainer will be able to fine tune your plan even more! Your trainer will assess which muscles you’re working, to prevent injury and to create a plan optimized to support long lasting fitness!

  • #5 Tell me 'bout it!

    Continue to share feedback with your trainer as you complete your personalized workouts. Share your experience during any exercise; where you felt it the most, what muscles were fatigued first, any strange aches or pains. All of this information will be utilized by your trainer to hone in on your fitness targets while ensuring physical safety and bio-mechanical efficiency.

  • #6: Damn! Look at you!

    Keep the great work up! Use your Trainerize app to follow your custom plan and track your progress. Continue working with your trainer during your personal training sessions- all scheduled by you, when it works best for you!
